Guest Stay Policies

1. Payment Policies

1.1 Full payment is due at the time the reservation is made. We accepted major credit or debit cards. (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover)

1.2 All rates are subject to applicable Mesa County Sales, Resort, Lodging Taxes and administrative fees. Taxes and Fees are subject to change without notice.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 14 days in advance of your arrival date. You will be refunded your payment, minus a $25 cancellation fee.

2.2 If you cancel your reservation 13 days or less prior to arrival date, you are responsible for the entire cost of your reservation. Your credit card on file will be charged in full, unless the room(s) rebook. If rooms do rebook, you will be refunded the difference, minus a $25 cancellation fee.

2.3 The cancellation fee also applies to changes in your arrival/departure date which result in a shorter stay. No refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departures.

2.4 Spoke and Vine Motel reserves the right to cancel or amend any reservation without notification should the deposit or payment dates not be met.

3. Trip Insurance Policy

3.1 A "cancel for any reason” Trip Insurance policy is available for purchase at the time of booking for 7% of the total cost of the reservation.  

3.2 Trip Insurance is only available to guests who have booked directly with Spoke and Vine via phone or our online booking system. Reservations made via a third-party booking platform are not eligible to add a Trip Insurance policy. 

3.3 If the Trip Insurance policy is purchased, there will be no penalty for a cancelation, and a full refund for the cost of the stay will be issued in the case of a cancelation. The cost of the insurance policy (7% of the total cost of the stay) is non-refundable. 

3.4 The guest is responsible for notifying Spoke and Vine of a cancellation by 5pm on the reservation's date of arrival. If Spoke and Vine is not informed of the cancelation, the reservation will be considered confirmed and the guest will be responsible for the full amount of the stay.

3.5 If Trip Insurance is not purchased, the guest is subject to our cancelation policy as outlined in section 2 above.

4. Check-In, Registration and Check-Out Times

4.1 Check-in time is 3pm on the day of arrival. We will always try our best to check you in early if possible. Contact us to determine if this is a possibility.

4.2 Check-out time is 11am on the date of departure. Due to the requirement to service the property in preparation for the next Guest Arrival, late check-outs are subject to an additional fee if they are able to be granted. A request for a late checkout must be made by a phone call to our office at 970-464-2211.

4.3 Late check outs between 11am-2pm will cost $25, given the availability of the room.

4.4 The lobby is staffed from 6:30am-11am and then again from 3pm until 6pm every day. If you require a check-in after 6pm, please contact us ahead of time to make alternate arrangements for your check-in.

5. Pets

5.1 Well-Behaved Dogs are welcome! There is an additional charge of $25 per night for up to 2 dogs. Pet Supplies available for a $10 fee. *Some of our rooms are very small and may not accommodate larger dogs. Please contact in advance should you have any questions.

5.2 Pet House Rules: There are just some basic rules in place to ensure the enjoyment of other guests and neighbors. Limit of two dogs per guest room; Dogs cannot be left unattended in guest rooms; Picking-up after your dog is mandatory; If there is excessive barking that disturbs other guests, you will be held responsible for their compensation; Dogs must be on a leash while staying at the Spoke and Vine Motel.

6. Smoking Policy

6.1 Smoking of any kind is NOT permitted in any of the rooms or on the property. Violation of this rule will result in a minimum $100 penalty to cover additional cleaning costs.

7. Changes by Spoke and Vine Motel

7.1 Spoke and Vine Motel reserves the right to make room and/or other changes to a guest reservation, which become necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Spoke and Vine Motel will do everything possible to ensure the impact of any changes is as minimal as possible.

8. Property Facilities and Amenities

8.1 Each property has a stated maximum occupancy level. The maximums are set to ensure your comfort as well as to not over burden the property. Any additional occupants may be asked to leave the property.

8.2 For stays of 4 nights or longer, we will provide a complimentary cleaning service, which will include a linen and towel change.

8.3 Daily housekeeping is available by request. Contact us at 970-464-2211 or at check-in. We will schedule and notify you of the cost.

8.4 Bicycles are not to be stored in the rooms. We have a secure bike storage area for your convenience.

9. Special Offers

9.1 Spoke and Vine Motel special offers are subject to change at any time. Special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions and are not available during peak holidays and festival weekends.

10. Miscellaneous Policies

10.1 Spoke and Vine Motel makes no warranties nor assumes any responsibility in respect of the following: (a) Cancellation or delay of any public or private transportation which impacts upon the guests’ arrival or departure time. (b) Injury to any person or damage or loss of any property unless caused by a willful act of Spoke and Vine Motel or its employees. (c) Any act of God, destruction, strike, weather conditions or policies of other organizations which could impact a Guest Stay.

10.2 Renter must be 21 or over to reserve and check-in.

10.3 Spoke and Vine Motel will charge the credit card on file should any accidental or deliberate damage occur to the property during the rental period. Damage to furniture, linens and other property will be assessed and then billed to the customer at our replacement cost, which may include labor costs. We will always be transparent in our communication about damage to the rooms. Keep in mind that excessively soiled linens, carpets and furniture will be included as damages.

10.4 A check out clean is included in the rental fee but should guests leave a property in an unacceptable condition an additional cleaning fee of $100 will be charged to their account.

11. Disclaimer

The Renter agrees that Spoke and Vine LLC shall not be liable to Renter, Renter’s guests, invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the rental premises. Renter shall hold Spoke and Vine Motel LLC harmless and indemnified from and against all loss or damage occasioned by use, misuses or abuse of any part of or fixture on the premises, surrounding areas and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of the Renter, his/her guests or invitees. The Renter acknowledges that Spoke and Vine LLC, assumes no liability thereunder.
